In Episode 7 of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Link begins the climb up Death Mountain in search of the path to the third pendant. Inside the mountain’s dark caves, he meets the Old Man and guides him safely through the passage to the summit. The journey opens new routes across Death Mountain, leading through its caves and cliffs until Link reaches the strange portal that carries him into the Dark World. There, the way forward seems blocked — until the Magic Mirror reveals the path between the two realms. By moving between the Light World and the Dark World, Link finally reaches the summit approach to the Tower of Hera, where the next trial awaits. Spirit of Haia. One traveller. Many worlds.
