Sustaining essential health, nutrition, water and sanitation services in Yemen

Across Yemen, access to essential health, nutrition, water and sanitation services remains critical for millions of people. Through the World Bank-funded Yemen Emergency Human Capital Project, WHO, UNICEF and UNOPS work alongside national partners to sustain essential services, strengthen public health systems and improve critical infrastructure. Since November 2021, more than 27 million people have used health, nutrition, water and sanitation services provided through the project.
