Stanford beat Cal 41-21 in the 95th Big Game. It wasn't nearly that close. The Cardinal rolled to a 20-3 halftime lead. The scoreboard showed 41-9 in the fourth quarter. Blockbuster Bowl-bound Stanford (9-3) extended its unbeaten streak over the Bears to six games. Coupled with Washington's loss to Washington State the same day, the Cards also clinched a share of the Pac-10 championship. “Beating Berkeley, USC, UCLA and Notre Dame in one year is a heck of an accomplishment," head coach Bill Walsh said. “I have never been more proud of a team of mine."
