Tales of Eternia - Seyfert Garden

The party makes their way to the Seyfert Garden so that Rid can attempt the second Trial of Seyfert. Here he meets the Messenger of Seyfert again, and undergoes the second trial. This time Rid is transformed into Keel as a child, and we see an event that happened in their childhood from Keel's perspective. You can control child Keel in battle during this event. The walkthrough I'm looking at says that you shouldn't fight any battles here and should just run away from any enemies you encounter... That sounds like a challenge to me! And so I decided that I had to defeat some of the enemies! The early fights I had were rough, I took a lot of damage due to being on Hard difficulty, and had to run and heal back at Keel's bed. I almost died a couple of times, and there were also a couple of times where I got poisoned down to 1 HP. In fighting the enemies here, I learned that the Arrow Tail (snake) is very dangerous, it can hit multiple times in a row for high damage, and is hard to run away from. Not worth attempting to fight. The Night Raid (dog) is much less dangerous, but has high defense. I attempted some fights with it, one lasted for a little while, but I was only doing 1 damage, and eventually I was getting low on HP, so I decided against any further fights with it. The Terror Needle (bee) seemed like an easier target, even though I had been previously poisoned by it, it seemed like if I could just avoid getting poisoned, I might have a chance at beating it. So, I kept waiting for a Terror Needle encounter, and when I finally got one, I tried a strategy of defending each time it shot, and then getting closer to it, until I eventually was close enough to hit it. It was quite a long battle, I was only doing about 20 damage each hit, but in the end I was able to defeat a total of 3 Terror Needles as child Keel. Feeling satisfied, I then proceeded to complete the trial. And after completing the trial, Rid learns another new skill.
