After a Hard Night at the Hospital, Afshin and His Brother Build the Roof

After spending the entire night at the hospital taking care of a relative, Afshin finally returns home exhausted. While Afshin was away, Shokoofeh had a busy day at home. She prepared food, took care of little Sorena, and continued with the daily household chores. When Afshin returned, he finally sat down to have lunch and get some rest. But there was still work waiting for him. Together with his brother Saadat, Afshin started working on the roof of the storage building. The two brothers first placed the beams across the roof, then installed several supports underneath to secure them. Finally, they carefully placed all the roof blocks into position. It was another long and tiring day for the family — from Shokoofeh taking care of the home and Sorena to Afshin returning from a sleepless night and continuing the construction work with his brother. This is a glimpse into the simple, hardworking, and authentic daily life of Afshin, Shokoofeh, and little Sorena.
