Disneyland's New Tomorrowland Needs Room - 3 Ways It Could Go

At D23, Disney promised two things for Disneyland's New Tomorrowland: more open space and new attractions. In a park with no room to grow, those two promises compete for the same space. So where could the new rides actually go? This video looks at the one corner of Tomorrowland with enough continuous space to build on. That's where Autopia, the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and the Star Wars Launch Bay building sit today. Then there's the obstacle that makes building there harder than it looks: the Monorail. Using acreage traced from aerial imagery, with existing Disney attractions as size references, we walk through three ways Imagineering could fill the space, and which one looks most likely. Disney has not announced a scope, timeline or attraction list for the New Tomorrowland. Everything beyond the D23 announcement is our analysis and informed speculation. They were traced by hand from Google Earth satellite imagery and include buildings, queues and nearby walkways, so official figures may differ. Every attraction used for comparison was measured the same way, so the size comparisons hold even where exact numbers vary. These are planning-scale estimates, not survey data. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📸 Follow along on Instagram for extra Disney magic: @imaginemover 📧 Business inquiries: imaginariagrid@gmail.com
