Honda Rebel 500 Ride/Smallburgh to Wroxham/Norfolk motorcycle ride

Join me for another Honda Rebel 500 motorcycle ride through Norfolk, this time riding from Smallburgh to Wroxham. The ride begins on one of my favourite little roads in this part of Norfolk, connecting two different sections of the A149. It's not a big, fast or spectacular road, but it's wide enough to make good progress while still feeling comfortable and safe on the Honda Rebel 500. There aren't endless twists and turns, but there are a couple of lovely sweeping bends along the way which add just enough interest to make this a really enjoyable section of road. Eventually, the route joins the A149, one of Norfolk's popular trunk roads, and the character of the ride changes. From here it's time to sit back, relax, follow the flow of the traffic and watch the world go by. This isn't an epic motorcycle road. There are no dramatic mountain passes, hairpin bends or spectacular viewpoints. It's simply a normal Norfolk road and an ordinary motorcycle ride — and sometimes that's exactly what I'm looking for. Is it necessary for every motorcycle ride to be an adventure? Sometimes I just want to get on the Rebel 500, ride a familiar road, enjoy the Norfolk countryside and appreciate the simple pleasure of being out on two wheels. Maybe I'm getting boring in my old age... or perhaps I'm just learning to be content and appreciate the simple things in life.
