#umbardara #gaydara #sidhgadrajmarg #sidhgad उंबर दारा आणि गायदरा हे मुरबाड तालुका ठाणे जिल्ह्या ते आंबेगाव तालुका पुणे जिल्हा जोडणाऱ्या प्राचीन घाटवाटा असून, त्या कोकणाला मुख्य प्रदेश सोबत जोडतात. ह्या घाटवाटा सह्याद्रीतील भीमाशंकर वन्यजीव अभयारण्यात स्थित असून, सिद्धगड आणि गोरखगड हे दोन दुर्ग ह्या घाटवाटांच्या संरक्षणच्या दृष्टीने महत्वाचे होते. ह्या भागात : बोरवाडी - सिद्धगड धबधबा - उंबर दारा (चढाई) - भट्टीचे रान - गायदरा (उतराई) - सिद्धगड राजमार्ग (चढाई) - सिद्धगड - सिद्धगड वाडी (उतराई) - बोरवाडी Umbar Dara and Gaydara are ancient ghats connecting Murbad taluka of Thane district to Ambegaon taluka of Pune district, connecting Konkan with the mainland. These ghats are located in the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary in the Sahyadris, and the two forts Siddhagad and Gorakhgad were important in terms of protecting these ghats.
