Build a PC hardware monitor with these 2 easy-to-build designs that use a 5 inch 800 x 480 touchscreen from Elecrow. It primarily has the Raspberry Pi in mind, however it's a brilliant little screen which you can easily add to your PC for a small (but useful!) secondary display. In the video I give a full review of the screen, then show you how you can make a frame for the screen using cardboard, and finish off showing the free software you can use to add hardware monitoring gauges to the screen. The Elecrow 5" screen (model RC050 / AUS25507D-1) is available on Amazon here; https://amzn.to/3LGo9IF 0:00 - 0:19 Intro 0:19 - 7:18 Elecrow 5 inch Screen Review 7:18 - 9:58 DIY Frame 1 (side) 9:58 - 10:53 DIY Frame 2 (desk) 10:53 - 11:27 3D Prints 11:27 - 11:56 Windows Settings 11:56 Software Setup Since making this video I've created my own 3D printable stand/frames for the screen. I've made available for free on MakerWorld here; ⨠ Minimalist Frame Stand - Desktop stand that displays the screen at a 60 degree angle https://makerworld.com/en/models/2622... ⨠ Monitor Hanger Frame - Allows you to mount it on the side of your PC monitor https://makerworld.com/en/models/2625... ⨠ Cabinet Hanger - Hang the screen from a standard cabinet https://makerworld.com/en/models/2621... ⨠ Just Little Feet - Desktop stand at a 60 degree angle https://makerworld.com/en/models/2628... Here are links to the software I used in the video; Rainmeter: https://www.rainmeter.net/ Rainmeter Gagues by RicardoTM: https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic... I only recommend products I buy & would use myself, and all opinions expressed here are my own. This content may contain affiliate links that (at no additional cost to you) may earn me a small commission. I’m not responsible for any damage to your screen if you follow the build & something goes wrong. #pcmods #pchardware #elecrow
