Devotion and Scripture: Wait In Expectation- September 21

Today's devotion reminds us that we ought to wait quietly in His Presence while His thoughts form silently in the depths of our being. He is the Creator of the entire universe, yet He chooses to make His humble home in your heart. It is there where He speaks to you in holy whispers. Ask His Spirit to quiet your mind so that you can hear His still small voice within you. God is speaking to you continually: words of Life...Peace...Love. Tune your heart to receive these messages of abundant blessing. Lay your requests before Him, and wait in expectation. Psalm 5:3 says: My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, oh Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up".
