Godzilla Battle Line: Evangelion Unit-01 Meme Matches

No map opening vid this season because I just bought the pass to get Eva Unit-01. So I'll be jumping right into gameplay vids. This was actually the first time I've ever spent money on this game, and funnily enough the code on the Google play card had the word EVA in it. Eva 01 is a fantastic edition to this game and a great unit overall. She is a 6 cost unit with very solid stats. She wields a giant minigun to attack, and it has piercing qualities like Ultraman. After walking for a short while, Eva 01 will activate an AT field around her and begin running. The AT field reduces damage to her as long as it is up. Eva 01 is also completely immune to death explosions caused by Burning Godzilla and Zetton. However, she does not protect nearby allies from the explosions, which is kind of a bummer. She is undeniably a great unit due to her stats alone, but there are just a few things that could be better for her. I've noticed that it can take a while for her to attack, being that she has to constantly change animations to move. First she has to walk, charge up, start running, stop, target something, and then begin shooting. By the time she targets something, they've probably already gotten two shots off at her. Her gun also dosen't have much range. She could probably throw it farther than it shoots, and the piercing seems to be much thinner than Ultraman's. She'll only hit multiple enemies if they are right behind one another. The AT field she creates doesn't come into play as often as I would like, being that she has to turn it off when attacking. But, I do believe her pros outweigh her cons. Eva Unit-01 is a fantastic unit and very worth investing in. She is very good at stalling due to her slow targeting, and she can also push teammates up when running similar to Gigan 72, so that can be useful in a push. I do have Kiryu's Eva skins unlocked but I want to hold off on making a video about them because Kiryu Kai is currently bugged. His first attack will deal no damage, which you can clearly see at 16:06 and it sucks absolute ass. Because of this bug, we aren't able to get a good idea of how viable Kiryu Kai really is. So until that bug is fixed I won't be making a video on him. Expect the next vid to be about Eva Unit-01 Leader. From what I've heard about it from other players, she's one of the best 4 star leaders in the game.
