Join me as I locate these forgotten 1944 crash locations in York County, while I tell their stories, interview ACTUAL WITNESSES, and descendants of the victims.
On April 3rd, 1944, a P-38 fighter plane would crash on the border of York and Cumberland Counties, killing the female WAFS Pilot Evelyn Sharp.
On June 7th, A B-24 Bomber crashed into the fields of Etters, killing all but a an untrained civilian, who grabbed a parachute and jumped out of the bomb bay doors.
On Christmas Day, a C-47 Sky Train crashed into the hills of Reeser's Summit, killing 12 and injuring 15.
