The only video of mine about trying the alcohol ink waterfall or rain technique garnered a couple suggestions from viewers that I check out a TikTok channel called @gracefulrainart (https://www.tiktok.com/@gracefulraina..., so I did just that. And - WOW! Christi Brown's tumblers and other art pieces are gorgeous!!! So, with that inspiration, I decided I really needed to try again, and again, and again... you get the idea. Here is a video of my next 4 attempts at what I saw in Christi Brown's videos. One thing is very clear: I have a lonnnnng ways to go! The alcohol ink waterfall gods laughed and laughed.
Here are the colors used for each cup: The 1st cup: Grasshopper and Flip Flop from Woodes Goodies; the 2nd cup: Pretty in Pink, Bayou, and Cognac from Woodes Goodies; the 3rd cup: Chrome Orange and Carmine Red from Copic, and the 4th cup: Dark & Stormy and White Russian from Woodes Goodies. All four cups also had Piñata Brass alcohol ink.

I love Swirls! Mostly swirls of color, but really any swirls at all - I think they add a beauty and grace to everything. So after I started making soap a few years ago, and needing some sort of biz name that didn't sound like everyone else's version of suds-r-us, I decided on Luxinda Swirl. Luxinda is a twist on my real name, and I quickly started putting swirls of color in all of my handmade soaps.
Now I'm branching out a bit, and I want to keep adding swirls to everything I do!
