The scores obtained on the Verbal and Quantitative sections are added to arrive at your final score. Hence, your total GRE score can range from a minimum of 260 to a maximum of 340! The AWA section is marked separately on a scale of 0-6 and does not form a part of your final GRE score, appearing alongside it as a separate component.
