Foundations in Prayer_Pt. 1

After the refreshing there is work to be done! Fasting humbles us before God and prayer keeps us in relationship with him. Jesus taught that prayer is more than just making a request, Jesus thought that prayer is about quality not quantity, Jesus taught that our foundation must be sure. Prayer is a lifestyle not just a task or duty, let us grow on to make prayer the foundation of our life in Christ. Scriptures: Matthew 6:5-15, Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 100:4, Hebrews 4:16, Luke 5:16, Mark 1:35, James 5:13-18, Luke 6:47-49, I Thessalonians 5:17, I Corinthians 15:58 We don’t become unmovable in our faith because life stops shaking us… we become unmovable because Jesus is our foundation through intentional relationship building with him. We must pray and fast and learn of our savior, the lover of our souls, the author and finisher of our faith! Hallelujah, Jesus is the rock on which we stand!
