[POV Truck Driving in Japan] Chiba to Saitama via Tokyo Expressways

Experience a night truck drive from Chiba to Saitama, passing through central Tokyo on some of Japan's busiest expressways. This drive was filmed from a Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great tractor-trailer carrying a large excavator. 💬 Turn on CC for route and location information. Multi-language subtitles are available. The drive begins at Wangan-Makuhari PA in Chiba and continues along the Higashi-Kanto Expressway before entering the Shuto Expressway Bayshore Route. From there, the route passes through Koya, Kasai, Tatsumi, and Ariake Junctions, crosses Rainbow Bridge, and continues onto the Inner Circular Route through central Tokyo. The drive then heads north on the Shuto Expressway Route 5 Ikebukuro Line, passing Takebashi, Kumanocho, and Itabashi Junctions before entering Saitama Prefecture. At Bijogi Junction, the route joins the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway and continues beyond the Bijogi Toll Gate. Along the way, you can see Tokyo Disneyland, the Kasai Rinkai Park Ferris Wheel, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree, the former Palette Town Ferris Wheel, Sunshine 60, and the nighttime cityscape of Tokyo. The camera was mounted high on the front windshield of the truck, providing an elevated driver's-eye view that is quite different from a typical passenger car.
