真夏の京都で、足を冷やす（下鴨神社 みたらし祭）

暑い暑い京都の街並みを通り下鴨神社の参道を踏み入れると涼しい風が吹き抜けてきた。手水舎で水に触ると驚くほど冷たくて気持ち良い。これが自然の湧き水の力か。その力を借りるように、みんなでからだの根っこを冷やして騒ぐ、まるで子供のように、御手洗川（みたらしがわ）の湧水で暑さをしのぐパワーを頂く。先人たちの心も伝わる、平安時代からの神事です。 Cooling My Feet in Summer Kyoto (Mitarashi Festival, Shimogamo Shrine) Feet into the Mitarashi pond.
