Revit Interface and Navigation for Beginners | Free Revit Course

Opening Revit for the first time is confusing. There is no command line, the screen is full of panels you did not ask for, and half the tools are greyed out before you touch anything. This is a tour of the whole screen, then the three mouse moves that get you around a model. Recorded in Revit 2027, on the Pacific Continental Residence sample project that ships with Revit 2027, so you can follow along without downloading anything. You will find it on the Revit Home screen. Two version notes. The Concrete tab is new in Revit 2027, and on 2026 and earlier those tools sit under Structure.
