VAN CAMPING IN A HIGHLAND FULL OF COWS

We drove up into the mountains looking for a quiet spot — and woke up surrounded by a whole field of cows. This is full-time van life in Turkey. We found a green highland, got the van level (the ground was softer than it looked), made coffee, cooked with a view, and shared the meadow with the friendly locals — the cows. By morning there was a light rain, a walk to the spring, and then back on the road. No neighbours, no noise. Just us, the van, the cows, and the kind of slow mornings you don't want to end.
