I booked a last-minute trip to Switzerland without doing much research, and when I arrived, I realized almost every hotel was way too expensive. Some places were around $300 a night, so instead of destroying my budget, I decided to try car camping for the first time. What started as a last-minute backup plan turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences of my trip. I found an incredible place near Interlaken, explored the town, got completely lost, and woke up surrounded by turquoise lakes and the Swiss Alps.
