I've loved my first ever airbeam tent!
It was a complete game changer for me going away on my own with a dog - previously Tia collie, and in the past 3yrs Oti adventure Toller.
Unfortunately, at 7 or 8yrs old it was time to say goodbye - my tent gets a lot of use, and with the amount of holes increasing it needed replacing.
Stock levels of tents have been interesting this year - companies over ordered for last year, didn't sell as many as planned then left ordering for this year late.
My horizon 4 cost 450 pounds years ago, as a package with carpet and footprint for underneath.
It was a bit of a shock to realize that they'd gone up in price, by quite a way!
I ordered a 200 pound Regatta airbeam, same size, but when it arrives the groundsheet wasn't integral - useless for putting up on my own.
That was sent back, and I carried on looking.
I like Berghaus, and they've got a really good reputation - this model looks great, and at the same size as my previous one (4 man too) I plan to use the same footprint and possibly carpet.
Let's take a look shall we?!
