This episode gives four blunt verdicts instead of a spec table: Free, Plus at $4.99/mo via Google AI Plus, Pro at $19.99/mo via Google AI Pro, and Ultra at $99.99/mo on the 20TB plan or $199.99/mo on the 30TB plan via Google AI Ultra. What you'll learn: • What each of the four tiers includes and how the May 2026 reshuffle changed the old three-tier structure • The one capability that most often forces an upgrade — Cinematic Video Overviews powered by Veo 3, still Ultra-only • A usage-shape test that maps four common user types to a specific tier with a one-line verdict • Why most people are already on the right tier and would get more from better sources than from more spend • What to verify on Google's own pricing page before you commit, since bundling and limits shift Every video on this channel is generated with NotebookLM itself — a living proof of concept of what the tool can do when you push past the defaults.
