Beechy Stout's son, Andre McDonald's sentence reduced when judge heard his wife gave him "jacket".

While serving the 4th year of a 20-year sentence for murdering his wife, Andreen McDonald, Andre McDonald took a DNA test which showed that the daughter he had fathered with her, turned out not to be his biological daughter. It caused the appeal court to reduced his original 20-sentence. This means he could be out on parole by 2027 or the latest, 2028.
