She has no husband by her side, and she has been facing life largely on her own while living with leprosy. Her only daughter lives far away and can only come back to visit her from time to time. During those visits, the house that is usually quiet becomes filled with warmth and companionship. But after her daughter leaves, the elderly woman returns to her quiet daily life alone. Despite her difficult circumstances and health challenges, she continues to live a simple life in this isolated part of the Vietnamese countryside.
