I am not having a go at anybody for earning a living. I am just telling you why my list is shorter than most, why most of it is boring, and why some of it is about weight rather than usefulness. Because here is the thing nobody says. Everything in that bay costs you twice. Once when you buy it, and then every mile afterwards, in payload and in the space it takes from something else. Your bays are not empty. They are already full. So nothing ever gets added, things only get swapped, and the real question was never would this be handy. It is whether it is worth more than whatever it pushes out. I will also tell you three things every list insists on that I have never once used in fifteen years.
