Day 9 of our 2,900 km Ladakh motorcycle expedition takes us through one of the most unique and historically significant regions of Ladakh.
Starting from Turtuk, we ride to Thang, one of India's northernmost accessible villages, located just a few kilometers from the Pakistan border. The journey offers breathtaking mountain scenery, rich Balti culture, and a glimpse into life in one of the country's most remote border regions.
After exploring Thang, we ride back through the beautiful Nubra Valley, passing Hunder, famous for its white sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels, before reaching Diskit, the largest village in Nubra Valley.
