George Passakos | 15 Years at Sea Between Greece and Australia

George Passakos spent 15 years at sea, travelling between Greece and Australia aboard legendary migrant ships including the Patris and Ellinis. Born in Elafonisos, Peloponnese, his life was shaped by long voyages, storms and years spent crossing the oceans. Eventually, his journey brought him to Melbourne, where the seasoned seaman finally found his harbour and built a new life in Australia.
