💻 Interactive CPU Instruction Cycle Simulator | Fetch, Decode & Execute
In this video, I present my Interactive CPU Instruction Cycle Simulator, developed as part of the Computer Organization and Architecture (COA–CO5) micro project at "Sanjivani University".
This project demonstrates the three fundamental stages of CPU instruction processing:
🔹 Fetch: Retrieving the next instruction from memory.
🔹 Decode: Interpreting the instruction using the Control Unit.
🔹 Execute: Performing the required operation using CPU components.
The presentation also explains important CPU components, including the Program Counter (PC), Instruction Register (IR), Memory Address Register (MAR), Memory Data Register (MDR), Control Unit, Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU), and general-purpose registers.
🎯 Project Objectives
Understand how the CPU processes instructions.
Learn the roles of important CPU components.
Visualize the Fetch–Decode–Execute cycle.
Connect theoretical concepts with practical learning.
🛠️ Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (if used in the implementation).
