Lets talk Bronco mods. The new, 6th Gen Ford Bronco's offer an exciting and efficient platform for on road and off road driving. As a daily driver, it makes for a decent, if not exemplary commuter vehicle as well. However, fully loaded up with a rooftop tent, food and fluids (okay, beers), camp kitchen and all the necessities for wild camping, plus airing down the tires for comfort and reliability, mileage takes a bit of a hit. Add to this, the meager fuel capacity of the 2 door variant, and a long-legged, long-hauling vehicle she ain't! When I went with the Rough Country tailgate reinforcement, I already knew an add-on Jerry can mount was going to be added to it. When I came across the Motobilt mount designed for the Wavian and knock-off, Harbor Freight NATO spec 20L jugs, I knew that was going to be my solution. Priced very affordably, but unassembled and unfinished, I also knew right away the TLOverlander channel would have an episode idea for this 👍 00:00 Introduction 00:34 Description 00:58 Metal Prep 02:19 Degrease Parts 02:54 Primer 04:09 Rubberized Topcoat 06:55 Curing and Assembly 11:01 The Finished Product 11:23 Wavian Can pickup 12:59 All Together
