The Caribbean Innovation & Leadership Lab at AFTRA 2026 | Transforming the Teaching Profession

The Caribbean Innovation & Leadership Lab (CILL) was honored to participate in the 13th AFTRA Conference and 15th Roundtable held in Gaborone, Botswana under the theme: “Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession: Implications for Africa.” During this international conference, CILL Executive Director, Angel Caglin, presented “The State of the Teaching Profession in the Caribbean: The Case of the Full Potential Program,” sharing Caribbean perspectives on teacher development, inclusive education, leadership, and innovation.
