Vietnam War Aesthetic Run Through the Mud Heavy 60s Fuzz Rock Combat Footage

Vietnam War aesthetic: "Run Through the Mud" — a heavy 1968 fuzz rock track set to archival combat footage. The paranoia of the jungle, where the enemy is never where you're looking. The firefights were not the worst part. The worst part was the walking — waist-deep water, elephant grass over your head, and the certainty that something was watching you from the treeline. 📼 ARCHIVAL VISUALS US infantry and Marines pushing through swamps, rivers and dense grass M113 armored personnel carriers crossing deep water and mud UH-1 Hueys and F-4 Phantoms emerging from smoke and mist 🎵 MUSIC "Run Through the Mud" — an original song. Lyrics written by me, music produced with AI tools, edited by hand to archival footage. Heavy fuzz guitars and raspy vocals in the proto-metal sound that was just emerging in 1968. Part of The Saigon Tapes collection. 📜 LYRICS Sweat is dripping down my eyes Shadows moving in disguise Every branch is reaching out Can't remember what about Is it them or is it me? Something hiding in the tree Keep your head down, don't you breathe Devil's crawling in the leaves Run through the mud, boy, run for your life! Cutting the water with a dull-edged knife! Run through the mud, boy, don't look behind! Losing your way and losing your mind! Footsteps echo in the dark Listen to the wild dogs bark Water rising to my knees Begging for a gentle breeze Whispers coming from the ground Paranoia all around (Run... run... run...) Don't stop moving. (Run... run... run...) They are coming. Run through the mud, boy, run for your life! Losing your way and losing your mind! ▶ MORE FROM THIS ERA Muddy Green Hell — [ссылка] Green Beret Blues — [ссылка] Brothers in the Dark — [ссылка] 🔔 New tape every week — SUBSCRIBE #VietnamWar #VietnamWarMusic #CombatFootage
