The Sessions with Adam Penning - The Summer Hunt

Adam Penning and HOOKD debuted their first (video-on-demand) angling film, The Summer Hunt, during some of the hottest days of the Summer in 2019. As a treat for Christmas 2020, and after the nightmare year that everyone has had, we're uploading this to YouTube for everyone to watch, for free. Filmed at the stunning Fryerning Fisheries in Essex, the conditions at the time were a perfect storm for Penners to get straight in and down to one of his most favoured styles of fishing; floater fishing for carp off the top. Over the course of 3 days, Penners takes a deep dive into every aspect of his approach to floater fishing, as well as catching margin carp off the deck with The Washing Line Trick. Watercraft, baiting strategy, tackle and rigs are all covered (plug free), with a seven carp haul, culminating in the capture of "The Brute" during the very last seconds of the session.
