My First Hike Back After Spraining My Ankle | Mount Monadnock

Finally back on the mountain. Walter and I climbed Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire today in freezing cold rain, wind, and basically zero visibility at the summit. Definitely not the nicest weather I’ve ever climbed Monadnock in, but it made for a pretty fun hike. This was also my first real hike back since spraining my ankle in August. After spending the last several weeks recovering, it felt great to finally get back out there and actually climb something again. I’ve climbed Monadnock plenty of times before, but every hike up this mountain somehow ends up being completely different.
