We share the quiet, beautiful scenery and townscapes that can only be found in Saga Prefecture, Japan. In this video, we walk along Sakagura-dori (Sake Brewery Street) in Hizen-Hama-shuku, Kashima City, Saga. Sake breweries are still in operation here today, and the historic townscape remains. The Sake Brewery Street and the thatched-roof streets were designated in 2006 as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. It was a rainy day, and walking along the wet streets made the historic buildings and the atmosphere of the breweries feel even deeper. In a town where traditional sake brewing continues to this day, you can stroll at your own pace along a historic street. Rainy days bring a calm, quiet mood that is all the more special. We hope you'll visit in person and feel this nationally protected townscape and the living culture of sake making. Enjoy the feeling of traveling through Saga together with us, right through your screen. If you enjoyed the video, please give it a like, leave a comment, and subscribe to the channel! We hope you'll keep traveling through Saga with us.
