All living beings are treasured expressions of the Divine. In many moments, the mind refuses to accept this truth. Why does a person find it impossible to see another as Divine, or to perceive oneself as the indwelling Divine power? It is because they remain unaware of the boundless power of the Divine. The vast spectrum of God's field is seldom realized by humans. That power is not only vast, but profoundly deep as well. Could there be anything that does not exist within it? If so, would not the qualities and attributes pervading a human being also exist within the Divine? Reflect upon this. If another person is not Divine, could something exist that does not originate from the Divine? Can something ever exist that is not in the precincts of God? Now do you realize that your mind—when it looks down upon another, views them as lesser, or looks at them with hatred or rivalry due to your conditioned impressions—is steeped in ignorance? How could one who is Divine inflict distress upon you? Is it not their ignorance and your ignorance that cause suffering? Is it not the very same veil of ignorance obscuring you that also obscures another? Such being the case, why do you clash with these veils, O human? What is gained by standing there, failing to realize that it is all an illusion? Just as the Divine power has uniquely embedded its energy within you and manifests through you, so too does it endow other living beings with unique powers and attributes, expressing itself through them. Meanwhile, this small mind partitions everything, declaring, "This is mine, that is yours"—when in truth, nothing belongs to anyone. Observe this very day: What is the Divine expressing through your form? Are your possessions beyond the domain of the Divine power, for you to suffer in ignorance claiming them as "mine"?
