In this video, Prof. N. K. Sundareswaran, Head of Department of Sanskrit, Calicut University, spoke on Shulbasutra—The Source book of Vedic Geometry. The Shulbasutra evolved as a supplement to the Srauta Sutras which deal with the yajnas. The construction of fire altars and the various shapes of the altars were the main topic of discussion.
