Anticlimax taken to the max. Boss fight starts at around 4:10 in the video. While this isn't the fastest route, your chances of running through the level normally on this difficulty without dying profusely are, well, slim to none. This is the safe route, essentially. This is also a cheap way to get the Queen Hatshepsut Achievement if you haven't already... though, I'd suggest trying to get it legitimately at least once. This route uses the Berserk Sandwhale "glitch" to go around the entire map. To trigger it, from the very start, turn right and look for a white slash in the canyon wall. Sprint towards it as soon as you can. When you get close to the wall, look for a sudden incline in the sand. When you step on it, turn left along the wall and walk backwards. When Sandwhale pops up, start sprinting forwards along the wall. You'll have triggered the "glitch" if you weren't eaten by this point, and Sandwhale strikes a second time as you're sprinting. Stay close to the walls/playable area and you should be fine. Now, for the final boss, you may've noticed I didn't get the Cannon. While you could get one in level 10, I didn't because this is a cold run of the level (selected from the menu). Anyways, the thing to note about Ugh-Zan is that, after you get at least one rod in him, he'll only fight with Sandwhale if he's under half health. He does this to waste time and recover HP. You do not want this to happen. Doing the fight like I do in the video is a pretty consistant way to beat him with the Devastator. Essentially: -Rod 1 -Lightning -Rod 2 -1.5 attacks from Ugh-Zan -Lightning -Rod 3 -Wait for Ugh-Zan to recover from the lightning -Unload 20 shots (1 full clip) into him while he attacks -Lightning -Finish him off I haven't done any testing with the Cannon, but I doubt you'd be able to kill him in less phases.
