I’M BUMMING ROUND — Jeremy Hayes | The Notebook Sessions | Brought to Life by Youss

“I’m Bumming Round” was written by my father-in-law, Jeremy Hayes, in the 1970s, when he was a young man. The words have stayed in his handwritten notebooks for more than 50 years. Now, all these years later, I’ve had the privilege of bringing his song to life and letting him hear his words as a finished recording. Jeremy remembers playing his songs simply on guitar, using C and G chords, so I wanted to keep that warm, honest folk sound at the heart of this version. Most importantly, he has heard the song, he likes it, and I have his blessing to share it. ✍️ Original song & lyrics: Jeremy Hayes 🎵 Arrangement & production: Youss 📖 Written in the 1970s From The Notebook Sessions — songs from old handwritten notebooks, brought back to life more than 50 years later. ❤️ #TheNotebookSessions #JeremyHayes #ImBummingRound #FolkRock #BritishFolk #1970sMusic #OriginalSong #Youss
