My Lhasa Song (Traditional Tibetan Love song, written by the 6th Dalai Lama Gyatso Tsangyang Gyatso in the 17th Century) This is DECHEN's song for reconciliation. Since her childhood it was her wish to one day perform in Lhasa and contribute to harmony, peace and reconciliation. It was a historic moment for her when in August 2023, after 64 years China's Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) opened the door for her as the first Tibetan Artist from outside of Tibet to perform this song in Lhasa, the place of the Gods and her roots. (Traditional Melody) 1.
