A Bourbon A Cigar and an Old Guitar

A Bourbon, a Cigar, and an Old Guitar Ever have one of those days when everything that can go wrong seems to go wrong? The traffic is a nightmare, the boss is a jerk, the truck won't start, the refrigerator is acting up, and there goes the money you were saving for something special. Sometimes, you just have to call it a day, head for the back porch, and let tomorrow take care of itself. This song is about the everyday frustrations we all know, the people we love, and the simple pleasures that help put life back into perspective. Because sometimes, all you need is a little time to unwind, a quiet evening under the stars, and a bourbon, a cigar, and an old guitar. *ABOUT BEYOND THE PRETENSE* Beyond the Pretense features original lyrics by Susan Epps Ward—songs about life, people, and the things that matter beneath the surface.
