The Four Seasons, Spring, RV 269 – I. Allegro by Antonio Vivaldi – arranged for violin, viola and cello. A violinist, a violist and a cellist play the opening of Vivaldi's Spring: all three announce the joyful main theme together, the violin imitates birdsong with trills and chirping figures, murmuring lines paint the streams, and rushing scales and tremolos bring a short thunderstorm before the birds return. Bright, joyful and energizing. Perfect for focus, study, work or a fresh sunny morning. 🎼 About the music Spring is the first of Vivaldi's four violin concertos known as The Four Seasons, published in 1725 in his collection Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione, Op. 8. Each concerto is paired with a sonnet, possibly written by Vivaldi himself, and the music illustrates the poem line by line. In the opening Allegro, spring arrives with a joyful theme, birds greet it with song, streams murmur in the breeze, and a brief thunderstorm passes before the birds return. It is one of the most famous examples of descriptive music in the Baroque era. 🎻 About this video The music is a new string-trio arrangement produced with AI from a public-domain work.
