Discovering Hornsea Bridge Railway Station

In this episode we look at the remains of the road bridge near Hornsea which carries Hull Road over the trackbed. Dating back to 1864 we are amazed at the quality of the remaing architecture. Following on we visit the site of the Hornsea Bridge Railway Station where we find remains of the platforms! Originally terminating at Wilmington short of Paragon, the service was extended to the shared Victoria Dock Branch and the Hull and Holderness Railway. We will be documenting our discoveries along the route of the former Hornsea bound route and we will show you all the wonderful Railway Relics along the way.
