Testing Expedition Khukuri forged knife designed by Alan Kay

I put this blade to a serious durability test using a 12-pound hammer and a 4-pound chisel, striking the spine to drive it through some of the hardest wood I could find. The goal was simple—push the knife to its limits and see how it holds up under extreme abuse. This test actually came after a couple hours of batoning, so I was already feeling it. Looking back, I probably should’ve started fresh—but sometimes real-world testing means working through fatigue. At the end, I check the edge by slicing paper—and it still cuts clean.
