@69 - Learning with Axe (Doctor VS axe), friends visit, checking out town & walking beautiful Alps

Our friends have arrived and we had a lot of fun, a lot of food, a lot of walks & a lot of wine (?!?!?!??!?!? ugh?!!?!?!). Under the starry night sky, we played games until midnight, watched the moon & stars and milky way and we even attempt to identify them all (*hic) We walked to the viewpoints above us and visited nearby town called Pinerolo. Our friends wanted to help around and learn few things too... here's Juanra learning to cut a tree with an axe. Believe me, I did try it too and it's really hard work! You can see though, that he got a grip not only on a the swing of the axe, but also kept an eye on the body position later on. He even tackled the chainsaw! The boys collected lots of firewood which will keep us nice and cosy this winter - thank you! We made lots of teas and also gathered medicinal herbs and brew tisane - I guess that get us through the alcohol just safe :P A game of Armello was then on! Somebody spilled wine all over - oops. We shall not name who was the winner... We then walked to the famous Rifugio Jervis alla Conca del Pra, which was breathtaking. Conca del Pra is a stunning high-altitude glacial basin located at 1732 meter above sea level. The plateau is huge and runs about 3km from Rifugio Jervis further. One of the highest peaks is Monte Granero 3170 m. From the plateau, there's a plenty of walks up, so it's more like a base camp! You can also visit an alpine botanical garden Bruno Peyronel in altitude of 2290 m, which I'm really keen to see...perhaps next time. Marta then made us super delicious fried potatoes with eggs which was served with cucumber salad and boys chopped all the wood. We open one of our watermelon and even it looks a little lighter on the video it was super sweet and delicious. And at the end of video, my man made udon noodles from scratch - forgot to record that & I've then tried to kill our friends with super spicy stir fry - carolina reaper chilli peppers are beyond! It was amazing, thanks guys for coming...we had a great time.
