Julie F The Rulies (Full Performance)

Meet Julie F The Rulies, ‪@julieftherulies‬ a Los Angeles-based DIY act, formed in 2023 and fronted by Julie Gilbert. Their sound blends raw indie rock with punk and emo influences, delivered with a distinctive lo-fi aesthetic. Julie F The Rulies is a prominent part of the local queer and underground music scene in Los Angeles, and I was privileged enough to catch them at a San Diego Set at Red Rhinoceros Records. Learn a bit about why the band makes the music they do, who inspires them, and how you can connect with them and join their mailing list to get zines!
