Glass Lödige Traction Elevator in the Main Terminal at the Frankfurt Airport in Frankfurt, Germany

This glass Lödige traction elevator is located inside of the main terminal of the Frankfurt Airport in Frankfurt, Germany. The elevator provides access from the lower terminal level (rear door) to the upper terminal level (front door). The Frankfurt Airport was originally opened in 1936 and was made public in 1972. Massive renovations and additions were made to the airport in 2015.
