Lee Roy Parnell: On the Road

Lee Roy stopped me in the hallway a couple days after this and asked me what I thought of his show. My first two words were beautiful and moving. He seemed surprised. I will probably post all the songs from this one, eventually. This performance is from Delbert McClinton's Sandy Beaches Cruise 20. Jan 2014. Etta Britt on vocals, Bob Britt, guitar, Kevin McKendree, Tommy Hambridge , drums. I didn't know anything about Lee Roy's music until a couple years ago on the boat. He is something very special.
