Automatic Snow Pole Machine - Episode 3

In August 2019, we completed the first version of the patented RoadTech Snow Pole Machine. The machine reduces waste by 20%, which is equivalent to 900 tonnes of plastic a year in Norway. RoadTech's sticks can be reused 100% for new sticks, contrary to the red poles you usually see along the Norwegian roads. The machine mounts poles while driving, unlike the traditional method where the machine has to stop for each pole. Furthermore, the machine gathers intelligent data for each pole, which is used to improve the speed and quality of the next season's work. In September 2019, the machine will be demonstrated to the public for the first time.
