In Victorian London, young orphan Oliver begins his journey in a bleak workhouse, where he dares to ask for more food and is cast out. Making his way to the city, Oliver befriends the cheeky Dodger, who introduces him to the lively but dangerous world of Fagin and his gang of child pickpockets. Although Oliver enjoys the warmth of new companions, he quickly learns the gang’s trade and is wrongly accused of theft. His fortune changes when the kindly Mr. Brownlow clears his name and offers him a real home and the promise of family. However, Fagin and the menacing Bill Sykes refuse to let Oliver go. Recaptured and forced into a burglary, Oliver must choose between fear and bravery. With Dodger’s support, he finds the courage to alert the household and reveal the truth. As police and friends close in, Nancy risks everything to free Oliver and the other children, while Sykes’ true identity is revealed and Fagin’s schemes collapse. In the end, Oliver uncovers the truth about his past and finally finds love, belonging, and safety. Justice is served, lives are redeemed, and hope shines for a brighter future in old London town.
