Meet Your Candidates for Nomination: School and Park Board Debate Night in Vancouver

Watch the virtual debate featuring the candidates seeking OneCity's nominations for Vancouver Park Board and School Board ahead of the October 2026 municipal election. This is your chance to hear directly from the people putting their names forward to represent OneCity on these two critical boards before members cast their votes in the May nomination races. Candidates share their vision for Vancouver's parks, recreation facilities, and public schools, and answer questions on the issues that matter most to our communities: fully funded schools, accessible recreation, climate resilience, and building a city that works for everyone. Moderated by OneCity Co-Chair Cara Ng and Member At-Large of the Organizing Committee Natalie Cushing. This event was held on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026. This virtual event was held on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
